From the beginning we have specialised in oral fluid drug testing, which is sometimes called saliva or swab drug testing. Oral fluid testing is a convenient and accurate method and is popular for random, incident and cause testing.
For a longer detection window, urine drug testing may be better suited for your workplace. Urine testing has a long history as a testing method with the first Australian Standard for it being released in 1995. Urine drug testing does have downsides when compared to oral fluid drug testing, with one of the main constraints being that dedicated bathroom facilities are required for sample collection.
For the longest detection window available hair drug testing is your go to. Unlike oral fluid and urine drug testing, hair samples are analysed solely at our partner NATA accredited laboratories with a turnaround time of between 7 and 10 business days. Another downside of hair testing is that should the donor not have any hair, no testing can be conducted.
For alcohol testing, at Relevant we utilise high quality fuel-cell breathalysers which are calibrated in strict accordance with the Australian Standard, AS 3547.
